How did Calling For Gratitude get started?
It’s a half-empty or half-full type of thinking.  Regardless of how bad your life is, there is still someone who has helped you become the person you are today.  Don’t wait until it’s too late.  For the full story click here.

Who are we targeting?
We want to hear from everyone. This includes you! We hope to reach people of all ages, backgrounds, races and countries from around the world.

What charity will we be donating to?
The Friends of  the World Food Programme. This non-profit organization is the United Nations frontline agency in the fight against global hunger.  To go directly to their website click here

Can I donate to the charity as well?
Any and all donations are welcome! Please check back on our website for the opportunity to donate to our fund. http://www.wfp.org

Will I be in the documentary?
It is a possibility. Many of the calls we receive will be used as sound clips in the documentary. (They may also be used in our podcast or blog)

What action do you want to call the world to?
Good is everywhere, well except on the news and in the newspapers, and … well, you get the picture.  Everyone has the same opportunity to be part of something positive.  This is a simple action that allows you and the world to speak from your heart and share it with us and the world.
 
How much have you raised so far?
the Friends of World Food Programme are going to send us a monthly update as to how much money we are raising.

Does it cost me to make the call?
In North America, it is Free.  1800 501-5029. Unfortunately, All other countries are responsible for the cost of the call (International Number: 1520 829-3388)

How are we going to raise the money?  
It’s in the works as we speak… We are looking at many ideas.  One is to create audio tracks of gratitude.

How many times can I call?
As many times as you feel like it, gosh.  

Will you sell my information to third parties?
It depends how much money they offer… Just kidding, Your email, phone number and car that you drive will never be shared with ANYONE.

How long can my message be?
As long as it takes for you to say what/who you are grateful for. (up to 5 minutes)

Who will hear my message?
The Calling for Gratitude team and possibly the audience of the documentary.

What should I say?
Please, say anything you want as long as it is expressing gratitude toward someone or something. Please keep your message G-rated.
